The big blog reveal!

The big blog reveal!
We spent February moving into our new home, so that’s why I’ve been on semi-hiatus & that’s why these vlogs are so late!
Weddings & video games are the theme for the year, no? We also do some foodie things. (Remember this?) So, an average weekend.
Weekend vlogs are back on schedule! I didn’t know if I was going to post this today, because it’s actually a very special day. We got engaged one year ago today! Instead of rushing a post for that, I’ll talk more about the engagement so far soon!
For now, I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL ULTRA SUN & MOON TOMORROW.
Since I really couldn’t vlog my perfect bridal shower, I wanted to share a few favorite photos I gathered from people!
Can you tell I love donuts? My mom surprised me with donuts as a dessert and my bestie & bridesmaid Julia took these hilarious photos.
My brother’s girlfriend Courtney borrowed this chalkboard from work and served as the day’s event planner with my mom– they did such an amazing job! Speaking of amazing, look at this guy with that bouquet!
My MOH Amanda granted my wish of a flower crown! My dress, which you can see in this photo with my beloved Nonna, is from Free People.
My beautiful bridesmaids! I have my lifelong friend Chelsea, bestie Julia, future-sister-in-law Caitlin, and cousins Amanda, Christina, and Daniella by my side.
My immediate family, and the girl cousins (the “pretty babies,” as much uncle calls us)!
A few favorite from instagram! Clockwise: my hometown friends, soon-to-be sister, future husband, and moms!
With Julia, who I’ll be a bridesmaid for a year from my shower; with Amanda, who I’ll be MOH for next month; and with Tara, whose wedding was the first Matt & I went to together!
And one last shot of the flowers! Big thanks to my aunt for taking so many of these photos. Fun fact: I was in my aunt’s wedding maybe 20 years ago? Her daughters are my junior bridesmaids!
143 days to go til we’re #lyontheknot!
I had the most perfect bridal shower! Since I didn’t get much of a chance to vlog it, I’ll be sharing some more photos with you tomorrow.
We also played a lot of Super Mario Odyssey! We are absolutely loving it and are just working on 100%-ing the kingdoms now. How’s your progress?!
It may not quite feel like fall around here, but pumpkin season is upon us!
Hello, September, I am still here! Here’s a little bonus vlog since I missed a weekend vlog. This was right before we left for Montreal, and stay tuned for those vlogs next week! Here, I talk about skin care, tell you my save-the-date horror story, and go full blonde for the first time in 10 years.
Today, for Wedding Wednesday, I wanted to share just handful of our engagement photos. These were taken by G. Riggieri Photography in Scituate, MA. We had so much fun taking these photos with Gabby and couldn’t be happier with how they came out! I love her aesthetic and feel like it perfectly matches my own. I can’t wait to take pictures on our wedding day!

Alright friends, I think you can tell by the lack of posts lately that June has been a really hectic month. How is it over already? I didn’t get any of the posts up I wanted to. I only read one book!
The good thing is, I took a lot of lovely photos that I’ll share with you now.
[1] If you’ve never walked around the Kendall area of Cambridge, I suggest you do. [2] Cookie Monstah’s red velvet cookies are my jam. [3] We visited Quincy Quarries! [4] We took our engagement photos! More on this to come. [5] I fell in love with orange kalanchoe. [6] Our indoor garden grew! [7] #SailBoston did not disappoint! [8] We went to one of my favorite places: Watch Hill, Rhode Island. [9] Summer blooms were around in full force!
I do have a backlog list of posts and videos that I promise will be coming your way soon! For now, enjoy your Fourth of July holidays!
The would have worked better for Wedding Wednesday, but I just had to talk about that Pokémon Direct! In truth, last weekend was a bit all over the place– we definitely ate a lot, and we got some really cool adventures in as well!
See for yourself:
Let’s be real, this post is mostly for me. We’ve made SO MUCH progress planning our big day, (April 7, 2018!) but there are so many details to keep track of! I like to be able to check the boxes, so it’s interesting to me to take inventory of where we are in the process. I warn you: I’m the kind of person who likes to get everything done early, so don’t feel like you need to go by my timelines!
