Best of 2017

It’s true; we all think 2017 was pretty terrible.  When I look back, though, so many amazing things happened in 2017.  We spent the full year engaged (today, we are 100 days away from our wedding!) and laid some pretty exciting seeds for big things in 2018.  I couldn’t be looking forward it more!  Here are my favorite moments of 2017, though.

5. My Bridal Shower (November) | It was amazing an overwhelming to have so many people from all different parts of my life together!  See the photo post here and the vlog here.

4. Montreal Trip (September) | We road tripped over the border to Canada, and had a carefree weekend.  Watch the vlogs here & here.

3. Diva & Deepan’s Wedding (May) | Matt & I agree, this was hands down the best wedding we’ll ever go to.  Watch the vlogs here & here.

2. Kelly & Frank’s Wedding & Chicago trip (October) | This only ranks higher because we made a little vacation out of it!  Chicago is a special place to us since it’s the first place we ever traveled together.  Watch the vlogs here & here.

1. Japan Trip! (March/April) | It feels so long ago already, but going to Japan was literally making a lifelong dream come true.  I can’t say enough about this trip and how amazing it was – here‘s the photo post with links to all the vlogs so you can see yourself.

Japanese Pokémon Cards

Why yes, I am finally editing all of these videos… this should be the last one from Japan 2017!  I hope you’ve enjoyed; I know I’ll be reliving the trip forever.

Though it’s not as good as a two-week dream vacation, it is Friday, so we all at least have the weekend to enjoy!  Hope it’s a great one!

Japan Haul!

I couldn’t wait another minute to share this video because it’s so late exciting!

I think you all can probably tell that life has gotten pretty busy lately, but I’m so happy that I’ve finally gotten around to editing my massive Japan haul.  I hope you enjoy!

Japan In Photos

As promised, I’m sharing some of my favorite photos from our recent trip to Japan.  (Yes we’ve been home for over a month, so what?)  Why now?  Because my vlog playlist is finally finished– you can relive my whole trip with me! If you can believe it, I managed to take more photos than video…

Kusama + Tokyo Tower

Remember when we travelled to Houston to see Kusama?  How could we not catch her in Japan too!  We also caught another of my favorites, Mucha!  Sadly, I wasn’t allowed to film in Art Nouveau.

After the National Art Center Toyo, we walked through Roppongi Hills (and made a legitimate attempt to creep on the Pokémon Company) to Tokyo Tower.  The top floor wasn’t even open, but WHAT A VIEW we got regardless!

This is my second to last Japan vlog, but I’ve got a few more Japan posts in the works too!  Stay tuned!
