Okay, I’m literally going to address each of these topics:
Fitness | It’s been so long since I updated you on my fitness progress, but this week went well! I went to spin on Tuesday, and somehow, my bestie convinced me to go to body pump on Wednesday. I liked it so much I went back on Saturday, as you can see in the vlog!
Festivity | Stay turned tomorrow for more on this 🙂
Fantasy Football | My first Fantasy Football season has come swimmingly! My team, Last of the Mohegan Suns, (or LOMS,) is first in the league! We’re 11-2 and headed to the playoffs. If I could pull off a win, I’d just be so happy!
Since June is barely even days away, it’s time to share my May instagrams!
I can’t believe how different the weather was in the beginning of the month! At least I got to debut my Banana Republic dachshund sweater. My youngest cousin made her First Communion! Here’s my family all dressed up. I bought my first ever pair of Jacks! They’re Nicole, platinum & gold. I did a 5k walk for my cousin’s company through Forest Hills Cemetery, which was spellbindingly beautiful! Selfies were taken in my signature camo jacket. My ModCloth jewelry arrived! Did you guess right? Memorial Day weekend brought my triumphant return to the Ocean State! Here are some Rhode Island things. The beach house got all dressed up for a new season. And I even got started on my tan!
I can’t believe it’s already October! I think this month is going to be a great one for me. I’m looking forward to autumn weather, Boston College football, more pumpkin-flavored goodies, and a trip to see one of my best friends in Philadelphia later in the month! Though I took on September rather begrudgingly, when I look back, I think it was a great month too. Let’s say goodbye now, shall we?
I’m cheating already ’cause this photo was taken in August… but it’s a September activity for Bostonians! This is what I wore to help my friend move. This adorable hoodie is from So So Happy! Sangria was my drink of September! Here I am drinking that with my friends Chelsea, Sarah, and Carissa at Sarah’s new place. See? More moving! It’s definitely been an indian summer and I haven’t been able to wear any of the adorable fall sweaters and vests I’ve bought. At least I found the opportunity to rock my camo jacket! The iPhone 6 came out! I can’t have one until February, sadly. Luckily, I’m friends with the IT guy at the office who was upgraded to the six for work purposes and let me play with it. I searched through my baby book to verify exactly what time I was born for astrological purposes, obviously. I found this adorable picture of bb Nicole and her daddy. Hyrule Warriors came out! I’ve been playing a lot, but not as much as I’d like to. Hopefully I’ll get some more quality time with my Wii U soon. My eyeliner game is so strong now, you guys. This selfie is from a lovely walk down Boston’s Commonwealth Avenue– one of my favorite streets to walk down in any season! What did I tell you about the Sangria? This one is made from boxed wine and hard cider with cranberries, oranges, and apples! After moving comes housewarming parties! The aforementioned sangria is from my friend Julia’s. Here I am with Jill and Julia celebrating her new digs!
Happy Manicure Monday! This Julep addict used one of her many coupons to pick up the Camo Crush collection and couldn’t wait to try it out!
I’m a camo addict too. My collection includes pants, tops, hats, a gorgeous newJ. Crew puffer vest that I’m dying for the weather to be cool enough for me to wear, and the jacket I wear every day. One of my friends alerted me to this camo-themed nail polish set, and I knew it had my name on it! Since I’m a Julep Maven, I got these three polishes for the price of one!
The collection included:
Hannah – a very light green that’s akin to a retro chartreuse. This is definitely a three coat color!
Roc Solid – a perfect fall hunter green, used above on my middle nail.
Kendra – a shimmery olivine that I’ve used to my accent nail.
I’m completely obsessed with olive green, and these colors really resonated camo to me! I’m super happy with my purchase, and glad I tried all three out together!
I think Hannah’s appropriate for the Halloween season as well… it reminds me a little bit of Frankenstein. I’m eagerly awaiting the beautiful Black Magic collection in my October Maven box, so stayed tuned for that in the next coming weeks!
As always, if you want to be a Maven, just let me know!
I know this is a bit of a different look, but I’m really in love with it. What do you think of these camo colors?
