April Beauty Favorites

Hey guys!  It’s a little late, but here are my April beauty favorites!  There is a corresponding video on Youtube, but since I’m still an amateur, I wanted to give you a better look at each of the products I loved last month.  Be sure to check that out too!

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in Deauville

I love the way this foundation feels on my skin! I had some trouble picking a shade because I’m not used to the yellow undertones that Nars products skew. However, this turned out to be the best thing about this product. The yellow undertones really neutralize redness in my skin. This has already become my favorite foundation. It is very liquid-y though, especially the first few uses.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla

I picked this up to go along with my new foundation. I’ve been using it religiously. There’s nothing wrong with the other concealer I use regularly, but I love how brightening and lightweight this is– another instant staple in my collection.

Clinique Acne Solutions Powder in shade 6 ivory

It’s no secret I have acne-prone skin. Though I mostly keep it in check these days, I’m still drawn to products like this. I was looking for powder to wear over my foundation to replace my Bare Minerals mineral veil, which I love the feel of but fear the slight pink tint makes my skin look more red. This is my shade and keeps me neutral. It feels nice and light, too. Mission accomplished.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner in jet black

It was a gradual progression for me from kohl liners to gel liner with an angled liner brush and finally, to liquid! I wavered between I can’t wear black at all and I only want to wear black. I’m at a comfortable balance with color options now, but Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner is my new holy grail. The control you get with this little marker makes me feel crazy for ever messing with Sephora brand liquid. Plus, it’s tried and tested (like, I cried for an hour wearing this) to be waterproof! Obsessed.

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in alpine

Stila wins the liner game for me this month! I mostly wanted to try out a white pencil to highlight the inner corner of my eye. I’m super happy with this purchase as well and would definitely try out another color in these smudge sticks.

Smashbox Always Sharp 3D Liner in 3D Billionaire

This color caught my eye in the Sephora. I love wearing olive greens, and although maybe not the best shade for my blue-green eyes, I love wearing this eyeliner. It’s a nice different option. The only thing I don’t love is how glittery it is! The next day, you’re bound to still find glitter lingering near your eyes. I haven’t found a non-glittery option in this color yet, though.

Essie Nail Polish in blanc

My shade of the month for April is clean and simple – white! My collection lacked a solid white, so I picked up blanc because I can never go wrong with Essie!

Maybelline Color Elixir in Celestial Coral

I’d honestly been considering buying this one forever. This is a lip gloss in my opinion. It boasts pigment of a lipstick, care of a balm, and shine of a gloss. It delivers, mostly– pigmented enough so you know you’re wearing lip color and not cumbersome to wear. I’m happy that I finally picked it up! It’s been a nice color for the start of spring.  Check out additional colors here!

What beauty products have you been head-over-heels for lately?

Have a great weekend, lovelies!
